Pastor Jeff Holliday received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at the age of 11 years old. From that time he knew that God had "something" for him to do. After acknowledging his call to ministry in 1996 the Lord elevated Pastor Holliday to the office of Youth Pastor where many young people were saved & lives were changed. He also has served as Ministerial Alliance Chairperson at One Way Family Worship Center under the pastorate of Dr. Noah Nicholson II. In 1999 the Lord placed in Pastor Holliday's spirit to start a community bible study on the southeast side of Chicago. During this time the community was encouraged through outreach & gospel concerts in the Chicago Park District. In 2001, he co-founded Spreading the Word Ministries with his wife Pastor Regina Holliday, where he currently serves as Senior Pastor. Pastor Holliday believes that with God all things are possible, if you can believe. Pastor Holliday has a energetic, anointed, & powerful preaching style that has encouraged many to move into their purpose & destiny. He is a ordained Elder with Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. But most importantly he is a worshipper.

Pastor Regina Holliday was filled with the Holy Spirit in 1993 while praying at home. In 1996 she married her husband Jeff Holliday and answered the call to ministry while serving under Rev. Geraldine Black. In the year of 1999, during her prayer time, while serving under the leadership Dr. Noah Nicholson II, the Lord gave her a mandate to spread  His word.

At that time the Lord birthed through her, Spreading the Word Newsletter. A newsletter written to encourage, challenge, inspire and bring restoration to the lives of not just the people in her neighborhood, but to many other neighborhoods in the Chicago land  areas, the prisons and to some womens shelters. At that time she also began a community bible study with her husband.  In July 2001 she co-founded, with her husband Senior Pastor Jeff Holliday, Spreading the Word Ministries, where she currently serves as pastor.
Pastor Gina is a woman of faith and a true worshipper of God. She believes that worship touches the heart of God and being in His presence is the most important place to be. Her desire is to bring glory to the name of the Lord, allowing Him to use her as an instrument, to bring salvation, healing, deliverance, love and restoration to the lives of broken people.
